Twiggy (Sakandi) 16.3hh 11yo TB mare

Incredibly difficult sale of a once in a lifetime horse due to lack of time.

Twiggy moves like an absolute dream with 3 floaty paces in the school and soft mouthed in a snaffle. She is a forward hack alone or in company. She has an epic jump, careful over poles and brave cross country. I’ve owned her since she was 6 straight out of racing, she ran in 7 hurdle races and retired sound, just didn’t want to be a race horse.

She’s been on an extended holiday for the last 2 years in the field due to personal commitments and moving away for uni and has been recently brought back into work with the view to find her a new home.

She is an awesome ride but she does need consistent riding and an experienced rider as she is sensitive and a big powerful mover. She loves her work and is easy peasy to deal with when in a routine, she’s not the type that can be picked up and put down every few weeks as she does get fresh and can forget her manners!

She has been to riding club camp, cross country schooling, hunter trails and been super, it’s always been my dream to produce her for eventing however lack of funds has been the limiting factor. She would also be epic to team chase with the right person.

Good for the farrier, dentist, clipping etc

Very sad sale but I can’t let her go to waste any longer and being back at university in September will make keeping her in work impossible for me.

Absolutely no novices, she is a serious horse in need of an experienced home.
