Woodfield Bonus (Woody) is a stunning 9 year old, 168 bay gelding, by Financial Reward, out of a prolific Dublin winning show mare. Bought from his breeder, woody has given us the best days in the show ring, highlighted by winning the lightweight Hunter class in Dublin horse show and reserve champion in 2023. Lightly shown and amateur produced since, he is never out of the ribbons at any show for me and was 6th on the 2026 Dublin horse show in the large riding horse class. Truly we have enjoyed him so much as part of our family. He goes to riding club lessons, dressage shows, jumps tracks of show-jumps and has competed in the western eventing league.

He is beautiful to ride, not spooky and gives any size judge a great ride. He is straight, sound and correct. He is just home from the RDS, is fit and in show condition and ready to compete again. I have no doubt he will qualify for horse of the year show.

Very good traveler, in a trailer or lorry, on his own or with another horse. Hacks alone or with company.

Very sad sale as I’m pregnant and starting the next chapter of life, I want to see woody used and loved as much as I do.
