Loves to jump, easy to do, loving boy

• Good to do, farrier, catch, load, lives in or out, fully vaccinated and teeth done regularly
• Lovely nature, never kicks or bites. No special diet

Joey is a superb pony, he loves to jump, has been well schooled, hacks out alone on roads, in orchards and open stubble fields. He's fine in light traffic but nervous with big vehicles.

Joey is good with the farrier, vet and dentist. He's a typical Welsh in that he can be nervous sometimes, but the more he's done the more his confidence has grown. He has a big scopey jump and is better over slightly bigger courses of 80cm+.

He is not a novice ride, but has been used regularly in the SEMH school i work at for lessons on the lead and lunge with learners. Off lead with the more advanced teenagers riding him and hacking him out. We also went for a forest ride with them where he was a star!

I have owned Joey from an 18 month baby, we have competed at a local.level jumping, dressage showing (inhand and ridden), gymkhana and attended riding clinics.

I am a 49year old adult and so jave never taken him to affiliated level, but he is more than capable.

I am selling him due to lack of time, my youngster is now also under saddle and I am struggling to ride both regularly with work and a child!

Joey does have to be sedated to be clipped, i use Domesedan under his tongue, so no need for a vet visit.

He has his hay steamed, just a kettle of water over the haynet in a dust bin.

He is good to load and travel, sometimes just needs a pat on the bum to go up the ramp. He travels better in an enclosed space because of his nervousness with large vehicles behind him when in a trailer.
