Duque is a stunning 16-year-old grey Spanish/Cruzado gelding, standing approximately 15.3hh. He has a Spanish passport and is fully microchipped.

An exceptionally well-schooled schoolmaster with a fantastic temperament. Duque knows a range of advanced movements including Piaffe, Spanish Walk, bow on command, collection and lateral work, along with numerous other movements. Videos are available on request.

He is excellent to hack alone or in company, confident in traffic, sensible and genuine with no silly behaviour and is not spooky. He is easy to handle on the ground and good to load, clip, catch, bath and with the farrier.

When we purchased Duque, he successfully passed a full 5-stage pre-purchase veterinary examination. The complete vetting report is available for serious buyers.

This is a very reluctant sale due to a change in family circumstances. My father, who has been primarily responsible for Duque’s day-to-day care, will be travelling for an extended period, meaning we unfortunately won’t have the time he deserves.
