A lovely, genuine Connemara mare who is beautiful to deal with and even nicer to have around. She has that lovely Class 1 Connemara breeding behind her, and she is exactly the sort of pony that makes you think “yes, we could have some fun with this one!”
She has done Pony Club, showing with results, unaffiliated events and a small amount of cross country. She is comfortably jumping courses of 80/90cm, and is a very straightforward jumper — she doesn't need everything to be absolutely perfect and will happily sort out a missed stride without making a drama of it. Jumps whatever is put in front of her. She genuinely enjoys her job and, in the right hands, we think she would make a really fun little eventing pony.
Her flat work is still developing. She has been ridden more often by children, so she is not a professionally produced pony schooling at an advanced level — but she is honest, willing and progressing nicely, and we think there is plenty more to come from her with the right rider putting some mileage into her.
She hacks alone and in company, has seen farm traffic and is sensible out and about. She is good to catch, shoe, clip, load etc. and is not at all marish.
We think she would make an absolutely cracking Pony Club all-rounder and fun family pony. She would be an ideal second pony for a child/teen wanting to get out and about, have a go at different disciplines and enjoy their pony, whilst equally having the presence and breeding to turn her hand to showing.
A really lovely pony to have around — kind, straightforward and genuinely enjoyable to deal with. The sort that will happily come out, have a go and get on with the job without needing the whole production team behind her!
A super little Connemara with plenty to offer and a lovely attitude to life.
