Lisa is a beautiful full up 14.2hh dark bay registered Connemara mare. N/N HWSD. She has an excellent Irish pedigree, by the dun stallion Classiebawn Hugh’s Promise out of a dam by Shadow’s Dun, featuring generations of proven performance bloodlines.

Lisa was imported from Ireland as an unbroken 3yr old and has since been professionally backed and given time to mature. She is a very genuine young mare who is proving to be a pleasure to work with. She hacks out alone and in company and is good in traffic. She passes busses, lorries, tractors etc. She has been on a fun ride, and enjoys going to the beach, taking new experiences all in her stride.

Lisa has recently competed unaffiliated Dressage receiving promising comments from the judges. Riding sensibly and confident within the white boards and flowers.

She is jumping round a small course of show jumps and cross country fences, showing a lot of promise for her future. She has a fantastic technique over a fence as well as being brave and enjoying the job. With her lovely attitude and willing nature, she will make a superb WH pony, Eventer, Show jumper, Dressage, Pony Club pony or a fab mother/daughter share.

Lisa is a very exciting prospect for someone looking for a quality young Connemara to produce and put their own stamp on. She is slightly nervous to put her bridle on/off over her ears. But this is something that is improving daily and I’m confident in no time she will be completely fine with a kind patient handler. She is good to groom, bath, load up and travel. Barefoot with strong hooves. Turns out with mares or geldings, currently living out over night.
