Bolly is a much-loved, 16.1hh thoroughbred gelding who has been a huge part of our family for the past 9 years. He is a smart, genuine and easy horse who we have known his whole life.

Bolly would be a lovely prospect for a mother/daughter share, for coming off ponies or for someone looking for a fun, experienced family horse. He has a calm personality and is easy to do both on the ground and ridden. He’s the genuine type of horse who is hard to find.

He raced during the early part of his career, was kept in racing to nanny young racehorses to the gallops and was then retrained. He’s not your typical racehorse. He has competed at BE and pony club 80-100, attended Pony Club camps, training days, team chased, and arena eventing to 105. He has hunted, hacks alone and with company, ridden and led, been to the beach, and enjoyed a varied life with his current family.

He is currently fit and competing at 90cm. He enjoys dressage and is eligible for RoR classes. He is a very calm, capable horse who is happy when competing, but he is equally happy hacking and doing something quieter.

Bolly is good to shoe, clip and handle, and has no vices. He has never been lame and has had no known injuries during the 9 years we have owned him.

We are looking for a 5⭐️ home where Bolly will be loved and enjoyed as much as he has been here. The only reason for sale is that I am moving and starting work in London and sadly won’t have the time to give that he deserves. We would be very keen to keep in touch with his new owners.
