Larry is truly a one in a million pony being both a competitive jumper who loves his job as well as an easy and lovely pony to have around.

He has competed SJI up to 115 with his previous rider. Since we have owned him, he has taken my daughter from 70cm unaffiliated to 110cm BS (Foxhunter) in a very short amount of time giving her plenty of confidence.

Larry’s best results are at Newcomer (1m) level where he is very consistent, regularly coming back with double clears. He is happy to take a miss and is eager to try and get his rider out of trouble whilst also being very careful.

This year he qualified for the Newcomers second rounds which we were unable to jump due to my daughter being in the middle of GCSE exams. He qualified for and jumped in the 1m Restricted Rider final at the British Showjumping National Championships where he had 1 rider pole round a tough track and was out of placings by 1 second.

He has been an amazing pony for my daughter to compete in BS, he is very easy to take to day shows and stay away shows. Being 8, we feel there is much more to come from him and we are extremely sad to have to sell him due to my daughter finishing on ponies and moving onto horses. We would love to stay in contact with his new owner.

Larry is easy to keep, he will live in or out with mares or geldings. He is a competition pony and loves his job so is not the type to be left in the field for a week and then jump back on at a show!
