Low mileage 6 year old, 16h ISH mare bred for eventing
¾ TB with strong eventing lines on the dam side, Damsire ARS Vivendi, by TB Sire.
Pippa is a 6 year old mare, bought by ourselves from Ireland as a 3 year old. She has a lovely willing nature and is easy to do in all ways – unfortunately she has never really had a job with ourselves, as we had too many youngsters in at the same time and the priority went to our working hunters.
Pippa was backed as a 4 year old and given a good all round education, schooling well and hacking both alone and in company, we started jumping her as a 5 year old which she showed a real aptitude for, she was jumping confidently around a course of 80cm showjumps and attended some local cross country training, happily jumping ditches and banks as well as going through water. She was then turned away for the winter and we just did not have time to bring her back into work at the start of this year, this was not due to any fault of her own.
We have now brought her slowly back into work with a view to advertising her for sale, however she did prove to be a little nervous at the mounting block with new riders – we have spent the past month dealing with this issue and she now stands patiently to be mounted, however for this reason only we would ask please no novice riders – although 6 she is still a little green and will need bringing on, however this is the perfect opportunity for somebody looking for a horse with super temperament and talent who has not been pushed too young.
No vices and good to handle in all ways, good in traffic, lovely paces and happy to turnout with others or individually.
Good to clip shoe and will travel in Horsebox or trailer.
Up to date with vaccination, teeth etc..
