Alvin is very sadly looking for a new home due to being outgrown. He is an 8 year old 150cm Connemara with I love you Melody Lines.

He is a fun, forward going gelding who loves his work, and enjoys doing everything from hacking across the hills to jumping, hunting and team chasing. He is schooling happily at 90/100 level with scope to do more. His flatwork is good and constantly improving and he is very happy out competing in Dressage competitions. He does however gets tense in jumping competitions and goes green and a bit backwards.

Alvin is great to hack alone and in company, will stand to do gates, is good in traffic and in open spaces. He has been hunting, team chasing and on fun rides which he absolutely loves. He has been to many arena hires, clinics flatwork, showjumping, pole work and XC and has been to 2 PC camps all of which he has excelled at and I have trusted him to bring my daughter back safely.

Alvin is good to load and travels in a lorry and trailer (although has been a couple of years since being on a trailer), good for farrier (shod all round), good for vet and up to date with vaccinations, teeth and regular physio treatments.

He is a lovely horse to handle on the ground with good manners and is a real character on the yard. He loves doing groundwork and is always wanting to please. He will live in or out. HWSD N/N

Alvin does crib at feed time which is reflected in his price.

He is a very special boy that we feel could give somebody so much fun in so many ways. He would be best suited to a fun home with a varied life.
