Glandore Bobby (Star) has been the most versatile pony of a lifetime for my daughter, taking her from learning her canter leads to competing successfully at national championships across multiple disciplines.
Over the last 4 years, Star has turned his hoof to Dressage, Showing, SJ, XC, Pony Club, hacking, fun rides, beach trips, mounted games, pole clinics and archery — he truly is the experienced, safe second pony that does it all!
Star has 3 lovely paces, producing some fabulous dressage scores, including winning the Junior Intro at Trailblazers Championship 2024, 7th in the Junior Intro BD Winter Quest Championship 2024, multiple top 4 PC Regional placings. They also proudly represented their PC and RC at their respective National Winter Finals 2025.
A natural showman, Star adores attention and thrives in a big atmosphere, proving himself a real ribbon, sash and trophy machine, with some fantastic results at STARS over the years.
He absolutely loves jumping and is brave and genuine, happily tackling fillers and jumping from any stride. Reliably jumping clear rounds! He does need a balanced, confident jockey when the fences get bigger. Highlights include qualifying for the BRC SJ Summer 2025 and Winter 2026 Championships and being placed 9th in the Mixed 60cm at Lincoln.
Star is good to catch, load, travel, clip and with the farrier. Never sick or sorry, and fully up to date with vaccinations, dentistry and physio. Has excellent manners, handled easily by children and been to countless stay away shows, camps and never changes.
He does have sweet itch, which is easily managed with a Boett rug and cream.
This is an incredibly hard sale of a much-loved, special pony who has given my daughter so many amazing experiences and memories. He is now looking for his next little person to have as much fun with as we have, as hopelessly outgrown.
