Lily is a striking, athletic mare with lovely movement, plenty of scope and the ability to turn her hoof to all three disciplines.
She has previously competed up to 1m showjumping and 90cm eventing, with plenty of experience at 80/90cm. She is naturally forward, fast and exciting and loves having a job. She has also jumped up to 1.25m at home, demonstrating plenty of scope and giving her a great foundation for someone looking to progress.
Lily would suit a competitive teenager or small adult looking for an athletic horse with plenty of ability and potential. She thrives with a quiet, confident and experienced rider who can get the best from her. She has plenty of personality and can be opinionated, so an experienced rider who understands her character is important.
She is lovely to have around on the ground and has excellent manners. She is easy to catch, clip, shoe and travel, is excellent for the vet and dentist, and travels happily in a trailer. She is straightforward to turn out, happily going out alone or in company, and has lived in mixed herds, including with youngsters, without issue.
Lily is currently happiest hacking in company. She previously hacked alone happily but is presently more confident and settled with another horse. With the right rider and some time, we feel her confidence hacking alone could be rebuilt. She is good in traffic when out in company.
She has hunted previously, although her real strengths lie in her jumping and eventing, she absolutely loves cross country.
Lily has not competed since the beginning of the year while her rider has focused on GCSEs. She also had a few months off before returning to work over the summer and is now back in light work and progressing well.
She is looking for a knowledgeable, experienced home where she can get out, have a job and be enjoyed to her full potential.
