Sandy’s Bertie

7yo ID x Irish sports horse gelding.

Having been in the same home for the past 3 years, he has been slowly and carefully produced with his future in mind. He has competed at affiliated British dressage shows, now successful at novice level, while schooling at home at elementary level. He is naturally very athletic, with all lateral movements established. We have also lightly shown him in Ridden Hunter classes, where he has won at 2 county shows, along with plenty of other placings.

He is hunted in the winter months, where he stands perfectly and is well behaved. He has a very careful and brave jump, with lots of scope. He has hunter trialled and competed at a local ODE. Perfect to shoe, clip, load, travel and will stand on the lorry all day!

From hacking around the farm checking on sheep, to practicing simple changes in the school the next day, Bert is a lovely all rounder that enjoys a varied life.
