Buddy – Easy X
Buddy is a very attractive, eye-catching 7yo by Cornets Diamond VDL, who is the sort of horse that always turns heads.
Successfully competed through 1*/Novice level, he is a competitive and established event horse with plenty more to give.
He has a lovely snaffle mouth and rides correctly in all three phases, with good form in the dressage. He is consistently competitive, winning his last outing on an impressive 23.5, and has multiple wins at BE100 level.
His showjumping is careful and clean, producing plenty of clear rounds, while his cross country is a real highlight. He is bold, brave and straightforward XC, giving his rider plenty of confidence while still being competitive.
Buddy has double clears and placings at Novice and is ready to continue progressing, he was double clear in the 1* at Scone 2025.
Despite being a big horse, Buddy is short, compact and very well balanced, making him a easy and enjoyable ride. He would be an ideal horse for a competitive amateur looking for a genuine competition partner, or equally a fantastic horse to give a junior valuable experience and help them progress through the levels.
Away from competition, Buddy is a pleasure to have around. He is well mannered on the ground, easy to deal with and well travelled. Good with the farrier, vet, clipping and all usual day-to-day requirements.
