Apollo is a very smart young horse with a wonderful attitude and all the ingredients to become a seriously fun and talented all-rounder.

He is currently with us on sales livery after being brought over from Ireland by his owner. Unfortunately, he is a little greener than she was hoping for, but he is a genuinely lovely little horse who is improving all the time and has quickly become a real yard favourite.

Apollo is great to hack in company and thoroughly enjoys getting out and about. He can currently be nervous hacking alone, so this is something his new owner will need to continue working on as his confidence develops.

He has a big, scopey jump and is an exciting prospect for someone wanting a quality young horse to produce. We have taken him cross-country, where he showed plenty of ability, and he will also be joining us at pony camp next week—giving him even more valuable life experience.

From everything we have seen, he is generally good and straightforward to handle. As expected for his age and level of education, he has had the occasional green or babyish moment, but there has been no nastiness—he simply needs a capable rider who enjoys bringing on a young horse.

Apollo also has a recent clean five-stage vetting for additional peace of mind.

A kind, smart and talented little horse with a brilliant attitude, plenty of scope and lots of potential. Apollo could make a fantastic riding club, event or competition prospect for someone looking for an exciting horse to develop and make their own. 💚
