DAVE

Dave is a lovely stamp of an Irish sports horse, with a full Irish passport. Grand son to national Grand Prix winner Cruisings Micky Finn.

He is a 10 years old, 17hh, grey, gelding. Dave has hunted in Ireland and has proven to have a scopey jump and is forward going without being strong.

Over the last few years he has been used as an all rounder, doing a few local shows and general hacking.

He is good to hack out on roads alone and in company. He is good in traffic but likes to be turned to face big wagons, but has never been unsafe.

Dave is so very sweet. A toddler could lead him with only a headcollar and lead rope and he would follow like a dog.

Brilliant to load, he would get in your car if you asked him to.

Great for farrier and vet but is never sick or sorry.

He is currently barefoot with rubber shoes for hacking, but he will happily be shod if you prefer, I just like to turn out in winter so due to mud, barefoot is my preference.

Dave has a beautiful soul and I will miss him dearly, but he is wasted with me as I feel he could go far with a more accomplished rider.

Because I really do love Dave, only a ***** star home will be considered.
