15.3 (approx) bay gelding. 9 years old but low mileage. 9" of bone. Very loving horse, easy to do in stable, shoe, clip etc. Will live in or out. He has been regularly hunted the last 2 seasons with the Braes of Derwent/South Durham, Morpeth/West Percy and Haydon with various riders aged 20 to 64. Good with hounds, stands perfectly at meet. Will leave the field and go off on his own, perhaps suitable for a whip but I haven't done much jumping with him just small rails, logs and ditches. 

Done fun rides / beach rides through the summer and happily hacks alone or in company. When hacking he can be a little spooky if something new appears on his regular route, hence needs a rider who will give him confidence. I bought him 2 years ago from a trekking centre as a plod but he has developed into a striking horse that could go on a lot further with the right rider. 

Snaffle mouthed at all times. He is a loving horse that winnies for you and is lovely to do in stable. Good to shoe, clip etc. Upto date with vaccinations, teeth, worming etc. Lives in or out.

This is a very sad sale as I am a small lady in my mid-sixties and he is just a bit too much for me amongst large numbers of horses, I am looking for him to go to a private loving 5* home.

Open to vet (has a small splint that has never bothered him).
