Candy has been with us a year now. We got her when she was just broken as a 5yr old. And even though she wasn’t looking her best at the time she still caught the eye.

Our original plan was to have a horse so I could go riding with my 12yr old daughter, but the more we got to know Candy the more she showed us that she was more classy than that.

She really turned inside out when we started doing work on her and I was soon jocked off by my daughter and herself and her friends took over the ride…

Since mid May she has been in steady work really focusing on flat work as she was weak enough even though she was a 6yr old…

Scope was never a doubt but as she strengthened up she got even better and her technique really sharpened up.

X country was not a problem either as I had been out around the land schooling over banks, ditches, gates the usual things you’d come across out hunting…

My daughter is in pony’s for another 4 years so we don’t need Candy now, but when ever the time comes that she does want a nice 5 or 6 yr old then Candy would be what I’d hope to find and then do the 6&7yr old classes.

She is a pet around the stable, easy to do everything with, shoe, box, clip and ride. Hacks out alone or in company. Good in traffic.
