CashelBay Matthew is a quality 6-year-old, 156cm Connemara X gelding with an outstanding record in the show ring.

By CashelBay Prince out of a mare by Clover Echo, Matthew combines quality, movement and temperament with proven results.

2nd in the Small Hunters at Dublin Horse Show 2025, along with numerous wins and championships throughout the 2025 and 2026 seasons.

Matthew has also been successfully ridden in Intermediate classes by a 17-year-old girl, who had only ridden him a handful of times before taking him to a busy agricultural show and subsequently riding him at Dublin, where he behaved impeccably throughout.

He is straightforward, genuine and a lovely horse to have around. He has a good jump and would make a very exciting Intermediate / future Intermediate ridden or Worker, while equally being ready to continue his career in the show ring.
