An exceptionally attractive horse with so much to like—and the personality to match!
Beautifully bred by Pinecroft Disan Hieroglyphic, out of a Black Boy mare, he was bred with versatility in mind and has certainly lived up to that. This is a horse who will genuinely turn his hoof to anything—and, more importantly, be good at it!
He has competed successfully in pairs hunter trials, unaffiliated showjumping and dressage, proving himself to be a very competitive and capable allrounder. He has achieved great scores at Prelim and Novice level and is more than capable of progressing to Elementary and beyond.
He showjumps courses of 1m with ease and has all the ability to affiliate. He isn’t strong, is straightforward to a fence and is forgiving if his rider meets one on a slightly imperfect stride. Fillers, planks and spooky fences don’t bother him, he simply gets on with the job.
He has also done plenty of cross-country and would make a super grassroots event horse for someone wanting to enjoy all three phases.
Out hacking, he is an absolute pleasure. He hacks alone and in company, is reliable in traffic and sensible in open spaces. He is equally happy going first or last and doesn’t become silly or competitive.
Good to load, shoe, clip and travel in a lorry or trailer. He is a very easy horse to handle and have around the yard.
To top it all off, he absolutely loves fuss and attention. He is the sort who quickly becomes your best friend—and quite frankly, this lad wants to be in your profile picture!
