A very charming young horse who oozes quality and has a tonne of potential for the future.
Bumble is by Greenlanes Jester (Negro x Florencio I) a dressage stallion known for producing quality, movement and rideability, with Castello III on the dam’s side bringing proven jumping blood and plenty of natural athleticism. It is a lovely combination that gives Bumble the potential to excel in either discipline and/or eventinig.
He is currently being promoted more towards dressage, this is solely due to the home he has been in. Bumble was broken and ridden away lightly last year before being given time to grow and mature. He is now back in full work and showing real genuine promise.
He has a fantastic attitude towards everything asked of him. He is the type of horse who genuinely tries to answer the question, wants to please and thoroughly enjoys his work. He has three fabulous, expressive paces and is working nicely in an outline, becoming stronger and more established with every session. He will soon be ready to start his career.
Bumble has also done plenty of pole work and a handful of jumping sessions. He is understandably still green in this area, but takes the same willing attitude from his flatwork into his jumping. He is brave, genuine and always tries, showing plenty of natural ability for somebody wishing to produce him as an all-round competition horse.
He has been to a handful of arena hires, and has also done a couple of dressage clinics. Travels well on his own and has been a very easy horse to deal with.
He hacks alone and in company and has been sensible in open spaces. As a young horse, there will naturally still be things he has not encountered, but he is not the type to spook at nothing or become hot and silly. He has been good with the small amount of farm traffic he has seen.
Good to shoe, catch, load etc and has a truly wonderful character, a really lovely horse to have around.
Bumble would be a very exciting prospect for somebody wanting a quality young horse to continue producing. Whether his future lies between the white boards, over fences or as a smart dual-purpose competition horse, he has the breeding, movement and attitude to make a very special horse in the right hands.
