Smoothie is our wonderful 15.3hh tobiano mare with the kindest nature you could wish for.
I’ve had the pleasure of owning Smoothie since she was just five months old, and she has always been the sweetest and most straightforward of our young horses. She is always the first to greet you in the field, is excellent for the farrier, and is up to date with worming, vaccinations, and all routine care.
Her sire is Smooth Operator who has already produced off spring jumping up to 1.50 level and 3* eventers
Smoothie has been professionally broken and has taken everything in her stride.
We have taken her to several arena hires and is out competing regularly.
She has been out to several competitions and has been placed in unaffiliated dressage and showjumping competitions, where she has taken the atmosphere in her stride and proved to be calm, sensible, and willing.
She truly is the definition of an old head on young shoulders and is now ready to give someone years of enjoyment.
At home, Smoothie hacks confidently going in front or behind. She is not spooky and takes everything in her stride, including cars, vans, farm machinery, and cyclists.
Stands by the block to be mounted.
She is working well on the flat, is beginning to work into a consistent outline, and is established in her schooling, including correct canter leads.
Smoothie is happy to live in or out, settles well with other horses, and is good to catch, travel, tack up, groom, wash, and handle in every way.
She is a genuine, kind mare with a fantastic attitude and a bright future ahead of her. She would make a lovely all-rounder for someone looking for a sensible young horse to continue producing and enjoy for years to come.
