⭐ Much-Loved 9yo 15.1hh Chestnut Warmblood x Thoroughbred ⭐
A very difficult sale of a much-loved 9-year-old chestnut gelding, approx. 15.1hh, Warmblood x Thoroughbred.
I have owned him since he was 3 years old and broke him myself, so his full history is known. He has been a huge part of my life and this is absolutely a sale of circumstance, not because he is unwanted.
He is a genuine, versatile all-rounder who is happiest being out and about and enjoying life.
🌿 Hacking is where he really excels. He is as safe as houses in traffic and I regularly hack him out alone. He is also regularly used to lead other horses from, which says a lot about his reliability and experience.
🚐 He is good to load and travel, and has been to several camps so is accustomed to travelling away, staying away and dealing with new environments. As a 28-year-old woman, I am completely happy taking him out on my own, loading him, travelling him and taking him.
🏇 He enjoys doing a bit of everything and would make a fantastic family/pleasure horse for someone wanting to have fun and make memories rather than chase competition results. He enjoys:
Hacking and pleasure rides
Fun rides
Camps
Schooling
Dressage
Pole work
Jumping for fun
He is happy living in or out, good to shoe and easy to keep.
He has plenty of personality, so he needs an experienced, confident home who will appreciate him for the individual he is. He has never bucked or reared.
He will happily pop a small course and has plenty of ability. This isn't something I have pursued as my own confidence doesn't lie with jumping bigger fences. His strengths are his hacking, versatility, experience and genuine enjoyment of getting out and about. He jumps for fun, done lots of cross country schooling, fun rides and general jump schooling.
💔 This is an incredibly difficult sale. My circumstances have changed and I am now looking to focus on native showing and driving rather than owning a blood horse. I would love to find him a home where he can be someone's best friend and adventure horse, and where all the things he does brilliantly can be enjoyed.
He has been loved, known and produced by me for the last six years, and finding the right home is far more important to me than a quick sale.
