I bought Alfie from Ireland unbacked as a 4 yr old. He has been slowly produced due to his size and only really starting to compete as an 8yr old so is low milage.
Alfie has done lots of riding club training sessions and several events, he has won and been placed at RC qualifiers and qualified for RC champs. He has competed mostly in unaffiliated events across dressage, ODE, hunter trials, show jumping and combined training, he has only done a couple of ODE's but was placed on a double clear at a Cotswold Cup qualifier in May 26 and has won and placed across other disciplines.
At home Alfie has been jumping up to 1m and he has been schooled across country at 90cm. He is happy jumping ditches, water, steps etc and has never once stopped at a fence. He is an exceptionally honest horse and has the potential for someone to own a wonderful person and competitive low level riding club horse, dressage, show horse or eventer.
Alfie is a kind, willing and genuine boy, he loves attention and cuddles and will often follow you around the field, he ticks many boxes:
* Hacks alone and in company in open fields and the woods, good in traffic
* Honest to a jump, has never stopped to date
* Ready to go out and compete this winter
* Good conformation, nice balanced paces and moves straight so could easily make a very nice show hunter
* Forward but not hot; forgiving and uncomplicated
* Clean limbed, no vices, no known issues
* Up to date with teeth, vaccs, shoes, wormed etc
* Loads and travels very well in both trailer and lorry (I do this on my own) and is easy to catch, clip, shoe and deal with on a daily basis
* Lives in a small mixed herd, happy to be stabled and can be left alone in a stable

Alfie is only for sale as I feel he is not quite the right horse for me, this is a hard decision because he has never put a foot wrong and so therefore will only be going to the best of homes.
