Caederwen Mellt Gwyn, GT, as we call him is beautifully bred being by Abergavenny Oscar [ Donys Dick Turpin ] and out of Caederwen Aur Cymru [ Donys Importance } This is a very sad sale due to ill health and a genuine change in direction.

Very successfully shown including winning the Royal Welsh Winter Fair as a yearling and champion section C at Royal Cornwall 2026 and is a WPCS medal winner.

GT is beautifully put together with a huge front, bold eye, correct limbs, plenty of bone and is a huge mover. Currently standing at 13hh. He is kind and easy to do in all ways and will stand to have his feet picked out untied when coming in, he stands tied up, almost loads himself and is easy with the farrier and to catch etc. We lead him regularly from a quad bike. Fully vaccinated, regularly wormed and farrier.

We feel GT will excel under saddle or in harness and is very sensible in his temperament so will be easy to start in any sphere. He is genuinely unspoiled and ready to start the next chapter of his life and be someone else’s best friend . He could be gelded here at buyers expense. Devon/ Cornwall border
