Anyone watching Aachen this year will have seen his sire Total Hope perform under Isabel Freese, this lad has all the paces and the flair to excel at the highest level.

HONEST DISCLOSURE - He came to us this summer as a restart, attempted saddling gone wrong via well meaning amateurs. It’s fair to say he showed us some moves in the round pen on day 1, but has since been quiet and willing day 2 onwards, he just didn’t understand the rules. Once we’d established a routine with relaxation and reward, he’s turned out to be really quiet, low dominance, introvert, loves human contact, seeks reassurance. He stands by the gate for us every morning awaiting his trip around the block, being saddled and led from Grace the piebald cob (see the video).

We are struggling for winter grazing this year so something has to give. We have a stunning selection of 3 and 4 year olds in training, but he’ll need a solid week to back and we simply haven’t had the time.

If we keep him over the winter we’ll finish the job in January and he’ll be 15k upwards and fly out the yard. This is an opportunity to take him now and realise the value in him. Full X-rays available.
