Stunning 8-year-old 16.1hh Gelding — Belissimo M x Dimaggio

Baloo is a stunning 16.1hh, 8-year-old gelding by Belissimo M x Dimaggio, with an exceptional temperament and a lovely attitude to his work.

He has competed successfully up to Elementary, winning his first Area Festival and placing in his first Area Final, where he also competed at Novice level. He is currently training at Medium level at home and is ready to move up this autumn. He has started learning his changes and, with an ambitious rider, has all the potential to progress through the levels.

Baloo genuinely loves to learn and is always willing to work. He has a fantastic temperament on the ground and is a pleasure to handle, whether at home, at competitions or on stay-aways. He is excellent to travel, shoe and clip and has no vices. He has been owned since he was four, so his full ridden history is known.

He is also an incredibly versatile horse. Baloo has competed successfully up to 1.10m show jumping and BE100 eventing. While I believe his greatest talents lie between the boards, he enjoys jumping and would happily have a varied life alongside his dressage career.

He hacks alone or in company and is straightforward and enjoyable to take out.

This is a very sad sale of a much-loved horse through no fault of his own. Baloo is a special horse with a huge amount to offer the right rider, whether their aim is to progress up the dressage levels or simply have a talented, genuine and versatile horse to enjoy.
