Danny is a handsome, kind and genuine pony with a real love for getting out and doing things. He would make a fantastic second pony for a confident child who is ready to have lots of fun and get out and about.
He is honest and brave to a fence and has popped everything we have come across, including previously hunting with the VWH and Staff College Drag Hounds. He has never said no, is not spooky and is well mannered both on the ground and in the stable.
Danny has enjoyed a varied life and has experience in showjumping, arena eventing, hunting, Pony Club rallies, fun rides and beach rides. He has also been away to stay-away shows and recently completed a camp at Somerford.
Since having him, my elder daughter has competed him successfully, including coming 1st and 2nd in the 60cm and 70cm classes at Stourport and Allen’s hill on his first visit to both venues
He has good brakes and is nicely responsive, with no need for constant flapping or kicking to get him into trot or canter and does not look at planks / fillers / water trays etc
He is clean-legged, sound and healthy, with no vices or history of injuries. He loads and travels without any problems in both a trailer and lorry. He is currently barefoot and his teeth have recently been done. Currently lives out with another gelding.
Danny is a forward-thinking pony who really enjoys having a job to do and getting out and about. He is not a first or nervous novice pony, but in the right hands he is a super fun, genuine and capable little pony with lots to offer and a fantastic jump.
