Tubby is a true yard favourite who’s been part of the family for the past 6 years. He’s a real character, racing isn’t for him anymore and is now ready for something new (ROR eligible.)

He does basic flatwork, he has three balanced flashy paces and carries himself well. He hasn’t done much flatwork previously but has taken to it very well and won’t take much work. He is naturally a real eye catcher. Light in the hand and never strong.

He has ran over both hurdles and fences in his career. He has since started jumping poles which he enjoyed. He is careful and scopey. Makes a lovely shape. If jumping is what your into he would need a confident positive rider who rides him forward. He just needs encouragement to know you’ve got him and he can do it. He would thrive off someone building him up slowly and getting his confidence.

He is a quiet straightforward ride, doesn’t need lots of leg. He is more slow than go. Tubby will happily stand all day. Like name like nature he will eat anything and everything. Lives on fresh air. He’s not the type to waste his energy unless required. He is well mannered with a very genuine character, loves fuss and a brush.

He has hacked out alone or in company around open fields & lanes, he isn’t fazed varying types of traffic. He is a very easy going person, never buzzy or silly. Lives in & out in company. Good to clip, shoe, box & travel. He last ran 15th August so is fully fit and being ridden a few times a week from the field. Has been looked after and ridden by small petite girl.

Full history known. No previous injuries. No vices. No sarcoids. One small scar on his near fore cannon that is easily hidden. Not suitable for a novice or nervous rider.
