Danaway Sontoro- ‘Matty’ is a gorgeous 13.1 6yo Welsh Section C with a big personality and lots of love to give.
He is looking for a confident child/ teenager to enjoy him and continue his education. He would make a fabulous family/ pony club pony and has happily been ridden on the lead rein by young novice children.
Matty is good to catch, teeth, farrier (he is barefoot with great feet), load, travel and bath. We haven’t clipped him since he’s been with us. He is up to date with everything.
He is happiest living out with friends but will be stabled if he has friends around him. Happily comes in to the yard from the field by himself to work.
He hacks alone and in company although does prefer company and he is happy for his companion to go off in front and doesn’t get strong or silly. Doesn’t get strong or silly in open spaces.
He is now ready to go out and explore the world with a new rider. He has a fabulous scopey jump and naturally takes you confidently into a fence, he really lights up when he starts jumping!
Matty has been cross country schooling and had a smile on his face the entire time, jumping steps, ditches and coloured fences first time. With a competent rider he never says no and will go off any stride. He is a typical Welsh pony, forward going, brilliant fun and absolutely bursting with character.
Schools well but is green on the flat.
Matty is a super fun pony to ride- he is young and takes his confidence from his rider so needs someone who is able to in-still confidence in him and isn’t going to panic if he has a spook.
He enjoys having a job to do but doesn’t get silly if he’s left for a few days.
He would thrive with a rider who is looking for a fun, forward going, buzzy pony.
Matty is looking for an experienced, loving home with a family who will continue his education to bring out his full potential.
