Sassy by name, Sassy by nature... 9yr old TB mare by Dragon Pulse she is an ex flat racer. We bought in January 2025 from someone who had produced her slowly to compete at 90cm eventing. Registered RoR
This mare has not reached her full potential with us but has been produced on further to be confident jumping 90/1m show jumping and XC , schooling well and consistently on the flat.
Loves XC and has competed up to 1m qualifying senior tetrathlon Champs 2025 and 90cm eventing but an unfortunate field injury meant we didn`t make it to Champs!
Also clear XC West Wilts 90cm BE with us 2025 and double clear Oxtalls BE 90cm Spring 2026. Clear XC inside time Pontispool BE90 this weekend. Has been lightly competed again this year due to A levels and then the hard ground curtailing our plans! Has also won and been placed SJ 90cm and 1m.
Eye catching mare who is ready to be very competitive eventing at 90cm working towards 100 and Grassroots. She is suited to a competitive older teen B test standard / mother daughter/son share (as in our case)or top end riding club. Not a first horse for a child as a TB so can light up on occasions and is mareish in the stable but does enjoy a scratch and a groom..... tied up! Experienced home a must.
We want the best for this horse, and I think is being sold at a reasonable price for her potential. She is fit and raring to go so hoping someone snaps her up before the end of the season as daughter is preparing to go off travelling soon. We would also love to follow her career and help with all our knowledge of her.
Sassy is good in traffic, to load and shoe. Generally good to catch and ok to clip with quiet clippers. Hacks out alone and in company. Does enjoy a routine.
Loves a trip up the gallops, loves seeing the trailer coming out and wondering where she is going next but is very calm to load, travels like a dream and happily stands all day in or out of trailer.
Sound, good feet for a TB has front pads for the stony ground and does not pull shoes off. Vets reports all available.
Only for sale as daughter is off travelling and I have given up jumping.
