A genuinely special horse with the talent, temperament and potential to go far.
Dan is a very exciting young horse who would suit a number of different homes and disciplines. He is the perfect combination of talent, fantastic breeding and an exceptional temperament, whilst remaining kind, genuine and incredibly straightforward to have around.
He has started his competitive career this year, with three BE90 runs, consistently producing sub-30 dressage scores and lovely clear jumping rounds. Despite being relatively low mileage, Dan has taken everything in his stride and has been an absolute gentleman at every outing. I took him to his first event on my own and he could not have been more well behaved.
He has also had plenty of experience away from home, including XC schooling, show jumping, hunter trials and training events. He is happy to get on with the job and is incredibly easy to take out.
At home, Dan is a pleasure to ride and do. He hacks alone or in company, happily plodding along on a loose rein either in front or behind. He is kind, willing and genuine, with a super attitude to his work. He has lovely movement and is a fantastic jumper, giving his rider plenty to work with as he continues to develop.
He is also easy to do in every way — good to shoe, clip, load and travel, and is a very straightforward horse to have on the yard.
Dan would make a fantastic grassroots/ junior horse but also has the talent and scope for a competitive rider to continue producing him up through the levels.
He really is a gem of a horse and a firm yard favourite. This is a sad sale only due to finances.
