Wilbur- stunning 5-year-old, 15.2 cremello Connemara gelding with Class 1 breeding throughout, including Westonhouse Straboe Bobby and Abbeyleix Owen. N/N HWSD. With a fantastic temperament, and an incredibly genuine attitude, he is an easy, talented and fun all-rounder with an old head on young shoulders.
Wilbur has been produced slowly and carefully with his future in mind. He is extremely well mannered and takes everything in his stride. He has been to a variety of training venues and competitions, always in the ribbons and is an absolute superstar-he impresses wherever he goes.
He is unfazed by open spaces, show environments, fillers and cross-country fences, making him a very exciting young horse with a bright future ahead of him. Wilbur has jumped 70cm at shows and 1m at home demonstrating considerable scope.
Showing a trainable and willing attitude in the school, snaffle mouthed, he is now working sweetly and consistently on the flat.
He is a lovely horse to have around and would be suitable for a variety of jobs.
He is fit and ready to go on with his next person and would be suitable for a small adult or child coming off ponies. He would step-up for an experienced rider or down for a competent novice. He really is the perfect unicorn.
He doesn’t buck, bolt rear or nap, not spooky, good to shoe and load- and he stands on the box quietly at shows. He hacks alone and in company and is bombproof in the heaviest of traffic.
