Jigsaw is the sort of pony that very rarely comes onto the market — a genuine, kind and incredibly trustworthy pony who has a heart of gold and will quite literally look after her rider.
She is a true all-rounder who happily turns her hoof to hacking, jumping, cross country, arena hires, hunter trials and competitions. She is equally happy going out alone or in company, will go in front or behind, and takes everything in her stride.
Jigsaw has been ridden by a very novice and nervous young girl, taking her confidently through her first solo hacks, first cross-country schooling and competitions. She is incredibly reassuring without being boring, making her a wonderful confidence giver while still being a fun pony to take out and about.
She absolutely adores attention and will happily stand all day being fussed and groomed by little children. She has the temperament that makes you feel you can put a young child on her and know she will do her very best to look after them.
She also surprised us by arriving with a foal on the way when we bought her — something we had no idea about at the time! She went on to be an exceptional mother, foaling very easily and taking to motherhood completely naturally. She was incredibly kind and attentive with her foal and handled the whole experience brilliantly, which is another lovely testament to her temperament and sensible nature.

She is a straightforward, uncomplicated pony who is genuinely lovely to have around and we really cannot say a bad word about her.
This is a very sad and heartbreaking sale of a much-loved pony, only because her young rider has unfortunately lost interest. Jigsaw has been a huge part of her rider’s life and deserves a wonderful new home where she can continue to be someone’s best friend.
Ponies of this calibre are absolute gold dust. She would make an exceptional child’s pony, confidence giver and family pony, with the ability to go out and have fun as well as being the sort you can trust with the important things.
