Pilleybaily Phoenix - a lovely 14hh New Forest sports pony gelding, is looking for his new jockey!

He has been with his owners since he was a foal, I have ridden him weekly since he’s been backed before he’s come to me to be sold as he isn’t big enough for the current owner. Bred by Pilleybaily who have bred top quality showing ponies and successful eventers!

He has competed at Prelim dressage showing real potential to progress up the levels, and has begun elementary work in training at home. He will confidently jump 70cm with masses of scope to go higher. He took to cross country like a duck to water and has NEVER refused a fence! He is eligible to compete affiliated mountain and moorland working hunter pony classes too.

He is more go than woah, always wanting to please and can get excited but is never dangerous!

Don’t let the 14hh put you off, I am 5”5 and almost look small on him, he has a lot of bone so takes up the leg a lot more than expected and also rides more horse like!

He would suit an adult wanting to event, mother/daughter share, or a teenager wanting to do pony club!

He hacks alone and in company, good to trim, load, travel, etc.
