Otis is a very well put together 17hh 7yo 3/4 ID 1/4 ISH gelding.
Otis loves the beach, forest rides, woodland jaunts, open field rides, XC and showing jumping in a field environment.
Otis will not go in a school. He was previously in a riding school and he simply says no.
Otis will hold a nice outline over the forest or in an open field but doesn’t want to be a dressage diva.
He loves xc and will happily jump a variety of xc fences. He also enjoys show jumping in a grass arena.
Otis is incredible in traffic, of all kinds and will wait patiently at a main road. He happily hacks alone or will go out in co.
He takes reassurance from his rider and due to his size and age, not suited for a novice.
He is snaffle mouthed even in open spaces.
Otis required a kind but firm confident hand.
He is turned out with geldings and happily enjoys a routine.
He is up to date with vacc, shoes, teeth and worming and easy for all.
He loves to be clipped. He canters over to you in the field.
Easy to load and travel alone and in co.
He can pull a face when the girths tightened, believed to be from the riding school.
Otis could make a lovely hunt horse or team chase.
He has a scab on his neck atm from a horse bite but no other lumps bumps scars or marks.
Seeking a loving experienced hacking home, xc, hunt, home that won’t ask him to go in a school.
