Heavy weight Irish Draught hunting horse

9yr old pure bred Irish draught gelding by Rockrimmon Robusticus 

 

Superb big gentlemans hunter a truly wonderful horse in every aspect 

he is a complete gentleman of a horse 

 

He has hunted with the Talybont for 2 or 3 seasons and whilst in Ireland was loaned to the Irish guarda as a police horse for 12 months before coming to the UK 

 

This horse is a weight carrier but as the photo portrays he will take anyone even a total novice rider, he looks after whoever is on board, he is not in any way spooky or silly and will cover any ground in a snaffle bit 

 

He is no show jumper but will go over walls, ditches and banks easily 

He has no splints side bone or warts and is open to any vetting 

He is a dream to do anything with and stands still when told so will easily stand on point when asked to 

 

I am looking for a seriously long term home for this guy where he is going to be appreciated in every way, his history is known from a foal until leaving Ireland which I have been told he hunted with the Talybont in Wales
