Due to sudden loss of rider Purdy is avalaible to the right home sooner than expected.

Lovely mare, good for the farrier- currently is fully shod but was bare foot until recently, good to load and travel. Upto date with vet, dentist, physio and wormer. Great stable manners and loves a fuss. Lives in or out with mares or geldings, happier out than in but likes a stable to rest in when needed.

Purdy was not broken in until she was 7yrs old so is still fairly green. She has been produced fairly slowly but has been exposed to many things in that time. She loves cross country, SJ and hunting. In the arena she has competed at 80-100cm but has jumped up to 120cm at home. She is not phased by open spaces and my daughter would be gone for hours on Dartmoor riding alone. She enjoys fun rides and beach rides and will ride upfront or behind.

She has taken part in all PC activities including games and polo cross, SJ and CX rallies and qualified for pony racing with the PRA. She is the perfect allrounder pony and just wants a job to do with the right partner. When schooling she has 3 flashy paces and will work in a nice outline. However due to lack of facilities at our old yard we haven’t done much schooling at home.

She is forward going and because of this is not a novice ride or for young children. She has typical Connie traits and at times such as hunter trails or out hunting she can get excitable and needs pushing through it as she takes her confidence from her rider. She would suit a competent older teen or a small adult. Perfect for a mother/daughter share.

Now she is out of work this is reflected in her price. This is a very sad sale of a much loved pony and home is most important. Please no time-wasters as it will not be beneficial to the pony and her new routine. She had a 5 stage vetting last august which she easily passed. Open to vetting if required.
