This mare has the best temperament, she is handled and ridden by my 11 year old son.

We bought her for my son who at the time was into pony racing and wanted to move up to the 148 category. She was green when we bought her and he worked hard getting her fit. However my son had a mountain biking injury and was not able to take her racing this year.

At the start of this summer She has been lightly schooled and popped some small jumps but we don’t have the facilities for this. She’s mainly hacked, lots of beach rides and cantered in feilds.

During the summer my son has focused on eventing with his other pony and has decided he wants to focus on this instead of racing. With this in mind and him starting secondary school we have decided to sell her.

Recently she has been brought back into light work. She has the most easy going temperament…..after not being ridden for a month or so we caught her from the field and went gathering sheep on the moor where she behaved impeccably!

She doesn’t get silly or strong. She never bucks, rears or anything nasty. She’s quiet and calm but moves forward nicely when asked. Never naps, hacks alone or in company. She lives in or out. Good to load, good to catch.

She is a great all rounder and young and willing enough for someone to take in any direction.

She’s a sweet mare and deserves a loving home.
