Striking 17.1hh gelding, 9 years old, with the scope and movement to suit an ambitious amateur dressage rider who has the time to take him up the levels.

Big, expressive paces and a genuine, willing temperament. He's a lovely boy who really wants to please.

He can be a nervous horse, and sometimes his nerves get the better of him under saddle, so he's being sold as a project to a sensitive, experienced rider who can build his confidence and bring out his full potential. He has never done anything silly or dangerous.

Currently not being ridden, as he's too much horse for his current owner.

On the ground, he is genuinely perfect in every way. Loads without hassle, falls asleep for the farrier and clipping, and loves his cranial massages with the therapist. Up to date with farrier, teeth and physio, which have helped but haven't been enough to take the edge off his nerves under saddle.

Home is so important as he has only been with us since last November (passed vetting then and has basically done not much since). He didn't come from the best environment and I honestly just want the best for him. Cost can be discussed but the best home is more important to me.

He is far too handsome and clever to become a field ornament.
