Moonshadow is a true-to-type, leg-in-each-corner stamp of a Shetland. My 8yr old daughter has enjoyed huge first ridden success with him this year, including:
⭐ 1st and Champion TSR at Three Counties
⭐ 1st and Champion NPS First Ridden at NCPA Staffs
⭐ 1st and Champion NPS First Ridden at NPS Area 7
⭐ 1st Novice Ridden at the Shetland Performance Show
⭐ Multiple placings in HOYS qualifiers
My daughter has also started her side saddle journey on Moonshadow in fine style. Together, they have taken part in demonstrations at county shows and enjoyed some fantastic results:

It takes a genuinely rock-steady pony to do this job, and Moonshadow has excelled himself. He is also ridden by my 4yr old son, is excellent in traffic and safe in open spaces.
In previous seasons Moonshadow has excelled on the lead, including narrowly missing his HOYS with a 2nd in 2025.
Moonshadow has recently started jumping and is showing plenty of scope, much like his sister Coppice Mollie! He is still green in this area and just needs more mileage to develop his potential.
He is an absolute pleasure to have around. The children do everything with him, and we have found him easy to catch, trim, box and clip. He has no vices or hang-ups. He has no known health issues, including laminitis or sweet itch, and has not had a day sick or sorry with us.
We would love Moonshadow to find a lovely family showing home where he will be appreciated and adored as much as he has been with us. He can be seen and tried near Solihull.
