16hh approx Full Irish Draught 8yo Grey Mare, a genuinely sweet and honest mare with a personality to match.
Maeve works nicely on the flat, with three steady paces, always snaffle mouthed. Has been schooled the last couple of weeks now riding in a better shape, showing what a great brain she has to work with.
Jumping she is bold and honest, going off any stride, she will jump anything put in front of her taking care of her rider from start to finish. Maeve has been cross country many times along with many pleasure rides. She is completely unfazed, jumping solid fences, ditches brushes, banks, steps and will happily go through the water!
She has also been out to multiple arena hires, training shows, clinics, clear rounds with petite lady rider. Once again proving what a sensible head she has, unfazed jumping fillers water trays, is happy in busy collecting rings or riding within a group as well as on her own. A very straightforward genuine ride always wanting to please the rider.
She loves hacking and would go all day, hacks alone and in company, first or last. Good in traffic and open spaces, stays in a rhythm that the rider is comfortable with, never silly or strong.
Maeve is good to do in all ways, she has the most affectionate and loving personality. Enjoys spending time with you, being groomed and fussed, has been a part of the family so is also good with kids. Good to catch, clip, box, bath, shoe etc.
A real kind level headed genuine mare that has been a pleasure to own, sad sale but unfortunately maeve has grown a little too big for current owner.
