By Cornet Obolensky, and out of a Cruising mare who herself competed successfully to 1.30m, Otto has the pedigree and scope for someone looking for a quality horse to produce up through the grades.
Some of his highlights include showjumped to 1m10, placed 4th in the Novice Horse Workers at Lincolnshire County Show 2025, 1st & Champion Royal Welsh Working Hunter (1m15) 2025, 1st & Champion Hunter, Lampeter 2026. He is great to hack, shoe, load, beach trips, lovely to have at home, no stable vices, very kind sweet nature.
My own focus is predominantly on the working hunters and although Otto has excelled in the ring and was one of only two clears at The Royal Welsh Show taking the Win & Championship over a beefy 1m15 course, at times, he can find the busy atmosphere outside the ring at large county shows overwhelming. I believe Otto would be happiest in a home where he can concentrate on what he enjoys most, and that is showjumping, and as much as parting with him will break my heart, I feel like the time has come where I need to listen to him.
He has been in the same home for the last 4 years and despite having a quieter year this year due to lack of funds whilst renovating a house, he is fit and ready to go. Please only long term, loving, kind homes where he will be understood, he is a real sweetheart and I will only part with him to the perfect home.
He is not a novice ride, he is a quality jumping horse that requires a kind, sympathetic rider. Only good, experienced amateurs or professionals please. Phone calls preferred and viewings a must.
