Striking Johnson x Stedinger warmblood gelding with three expressive paces and plenty of quality for someone looking for a talented horse to continue producing.

Winston is established in his basic flatwork and continuing to improve his lateral work. He has recently been training with an international trainer alongside myself at their premises and was a star staying away from home. He is currently in full work, schooling regularly and enjoys hacking, including roads, open spaces and faster work, isn’t fussed by traffic.

He is a sensitive horse who can lack confidence when unsure, so requires a calm, capable and experienced rider who understands this type of horse. He is not suitable for a novice or nervous rider.

When relaxed and confident, Winston gives a lovely feeling and has plenty of potential to progress further in the right hands.

He has attended hires and clinics, staying away and training away from home and an couple unaffiliated local shows.

Due to his size he was not rushed and given the appropriate time to mature and grow into his body and so is still a little green in areas, making him the perfect candidate for someone to produce further.

For complete transparency: Winston has some swelling to one hock and a lump on his fetlock, both resulting from a single field injury sustained as a youngster. He was never and has never been lame as a result even when in full training. He does also have a very small / flat sarcoid which is not anywhere interfering.
