Mover – 6yo Purebred Connemara Gelding | 15hh
It is with great care that we offer our much-loved boy Mover (“Moo”) for his next chapter.
Moo is a 6-year-old purebred Connemara gelding, standing at approximately 15hh, by 3DR Inis Bui and out of a Tasty Mover mare. He has been a very special part of our family for the past 3½ years, and during that time he has been enjoyed by the whole family.
Mover is a true-to-type Connemara — beautifully put together, with a leg in each corner, lovely presence and a correct, straight conformation. He has no lumps or bumps and is a really quality, genuine pony.
Moo has had a fantastic, varied education and has enjoyed a bit of everything, including:
Hunting
Showing, both in-hand and ridden
Showjumping
Cross country
Trail riding
Dressage
He has been very successful in the show ring, consistently finishing in the top three and never being placed outside the top three.
Under saddle, Mover is a lovely, uncomplicated ride. He goes happily in a snaffle, has a beautiful soft mouth, responds well to the leg and listens to his rider. He is well mannered both on the ground and under saddle and has been a pleasure for the whole family to work with.
He is equally straightforward to manage at home. Moo is happy living in or out, is easy to handle and travels well in both trailers and lorries. He is a gentleman for the farrier, dentist, physio and vet, making him a very easy horse to have around.
Mover really is a lovely all-rounder with a kind nature, a good attitude and plenty of experience. He would suit someone looking for a quality Connemara with the ability to turn his hoof to a variety of disciplines, while also being a much-loved family pony as he currently is a mother daughter share.
This is a very hard decision for us, and finding the right home is far more important than price. We are looking for a knowledgeable, caring home where Mover will be loved, appreciated and given the opportunity to continue doing what he enjoys.
Mover is registered with the Connemara Pony Society.
