Having owned Fergus since he was 7 months old, he has had the hands on involvement which has made him the fantastic pony he is today!

Doing ride & lead since a baby, he has seen every kind of traffic and is very bombproof. Open moorland, woodland, loves splashing in rivers, hacks alone or in company will go front or last. He will go for miles or a short loop and most importantly he LOVES IT!

In the arena, his ridden education has been produced by adults. So he’s learnt the correct way from the get go. Happy mouth snaffle with a soft mouth & nicely responsive to aids. He has been ridden & hacked out by children also. He’s a lovely straight mover, working away in walk, trot & canter. Enjoys his pole work and is ready to further his education.

On the ground he has never been a problem, great to catch, often runs to you for a kiss. Great when grooming, working in & around the stable, tacking up, loading, farrier, vet, dentist etc.

The only reason he is for sale, is he’s ready for that next chapter and I can’t offer him that (newborn baby). This pony genuinely loves his work and it would be unfair to not allow him that. Whatever discipline you want to do, I strongly believe he will give it 100% and excel.

He’s a Cob Cross & is a growing boy, currently standing 12.3hh but will make around 13hh. Don’t be put off by his age, he is 4 years old, but he is mature & seen more of the world than most!
