Dubby has super breeding, he is by class 1 stallion Heigh Ho Dubh out of a Crannagh Hero Mare , Millhollow Molly.

He is a homebred and has had extensive handling from a foal and a great start to life.

He has been slowly produced and began his competition career as a 5 year old. He hunted a season with the Newry's and has proven to be calm, collected and extremely safe in the hunting field. 

He qualified for the Performance Irish draught class in Balmoral 2026 where he jumped a fabulous clear round. He was placed 6th in a strong performance class at NI Festival at Cavan of around 16 Draughts. He was placed 2nd in the RDS qualifier at Rincoola and narrowly missed out on qualifying for the RDS. 

He recently began his eventing career where on his first outing he won the EI90 in Moyallen. Dubby has a scopey jump and will never touch a pole. He is an extremely versatile horse and turns heads every time he goes out.

Dubby is a dream to have around the yard with his gentle giant personality, he travels on the lorry or the trailer, hacks alone or in company. Good in traffic and will hack through the forest jump drains, logs, hedges etc. There is not much this boy has not seen.

He has super quality with a compact build. Dubby is the ultimate all rounder, he could turn his hoof to any discipline. So many references available for this special Horse.
