Monty is a very special horse who combines talent, experience and the most fantastic temperament. A proven competition horse who is also wonderfully straightforward and enjoyable to have around.

He has competed successfully to Medium, including numerous Area Festivals and Regional Championships, and has also competed at National level. He is currently schooling at Advanced Medium and has a flying change each way.

He is comfortable to ride, nicely responsive without being sharp, and good to the leg. He is straightforward and rideable, making him a real pleasure to work with.

Monty is naturally laid-back, safe and sensible. He isn’t spooky or reactive and is equally happy hacking alone or in company. He travels brilliantly to shows and is fantastic to deal with on your own. The sort of horse you can load up, take to a competition and know you can enjoy your day with.

Away from his ridden work, Monty is a real character who loves attention and enjoys being fussed over. He has a lovely temperament and is as enjoyable to spend time with as he is to ride.

He would make an ideal partner for a competitive amateur, junior/young rider or anyone looking for a talented, experienced and genuine horse. He has the training and competition experience to be competitive while still being a straightforward and enjoyable horse to have.
