Elmo is a 15h full Connemara gelding who is a smart little horse with a very kind, genuine attitude to life.

Currently he is working sweetly on the flat, in a correct frame with 3 good paces and a super canter. He is beginning to learn basic lateral work but he is still green with this.

To jump he is very straightforward, takes you to a fence and will jump off any stride, not phased by fillers etc. he has been xc schooling where he popped round a mix of the 80 and 90cm fences very genuinely, always going even when it was a fence he hadn’t seen before. Super through the water and over the ditches.

He hacks out alone and in company and is brilliant in all types of traffic, and doesn’t get silly in open spaces. On the ground Elmo is very friendly, always happy to see you and will quite literally follow you around like a dog!

Currently barefoot but has been shod and stands perfectly for the farrier. Up to date with vaccinations and teeth.

He is a super little chap who would make an ideal grassroots event horse, or pony club/riding club allrounder as he has the temperament to look after a younger rider. Due to his age he of course still has greenness in some of his training and I would like him to go to someone who will be able to continue his education. Wether that be with an experienced rider or a child with good support.
