15’3 Chestnut Gelding TBxID. About to turn 5.
I keep putting this off, however it’s really time where Charlie needs someone to enjoy making him the horse he is destined to be.
I bought Charlie from Ireland with not the intention of keeping him forever, but with the intention to get him to a good place to be able to be ready to join a loving family. I never bought him with the intention to ride, also just to allow him time to grow and develop into his own body.
He was a scrawny boy when he first arrived and have just allowed him time, he was meant to be 4 however to me and the dentist we agreed that he was a very late of year foal, so he would be coming on 5 fairly soon I’d say, going off his passport he would have been 5 1/1
He was backed in Ireland and turned away and I did do lots of ground work in February as that is key and had a friend school for a couple sessions and i hacked him out once just to get a little feel for him and since then turned away again as he was bum high, still abit bum high to grow, so as I say he has just been allowed this time to develop into himself without any pressure at all. He proved to be a very sweet boy and a good learner.
He is a typical baby where he wants to lick you all day, sometimes a little nibble, he is just such a sweet sweet boy, I’m under no pressure to sell him as he is just enjoying life with friends being a horse.
He has front shoes on as he became abit footy in front and decided to keep him in them as good practice with the farrier and helped him get his feet in good shape.
I’m looking for someone who wants to get a horse that’s green where they can make him their own. I’m looking for someone who is kind, loving and sympathetic as he is too sweet not to have lots of love and attention.
I’ve had no medical history with him and happy to give his records, he has a crusty flat sarcoid I’m guessing just under his head, it hasn’t been confirmed but assume, it just looks like a scab, it doesn’t effect him at all and doesn’t sit where the bridle goes, so these are best left alone. Apart from that he seems to be pretty clear and clean.
He has had his teeth done twice, had standard Mctimony treatment, and anything he needs. Although I missed the date of his injection so needs starting again.
I’m in no rush and will wait for the right home, I don’t have any videos of him in work as it was in Feb where he did very little, so it would be meeting him and seeing him without being ridden as he will need starting again which I’m sure won’t take long.
He is £5,500 which is only what I paid for him plus transport.
This is an honest advert I’ve tried to give the best information as he is what he is a bit with a big heart ready to start his education
